Shahrazad Fatah Ali, the 11 year old girl in this picture was internally displaced from Mosul to Dohuk in 2014 then settled down in Girvir village/ Zummar.'' I still remember how we fled because of ISIS, I still remember men in black clothes I am scared till now'' she told me. Shahrazad is continuing her education in Girvir village and is in the 4th grade now, she wants to be a teacher in future.
Yahya the boy in the picture, Zahra the girl in the middle and zaynab the little 5 years old girl on the left, are siblings (IDP's) from a village called Qasarid, they left the village two years ago and are living in Zummar currently. Yahya is 10 years old, he's in 4th grade and want to be an engineer in future. Zahra is 8 years old in the 2nd grade and want to become a doctor. The siblings want to return to their village as soon as possible. They were really happy and were showing each other their toys and other stuff they received.
Aya Mohamad Hassan the little girl on the right. Aya lives in Girvir, she is 8 years old and loves school, she is in the 3rd grade. She wants to travel around the world and want to be a pediatrician in the future '' so I can help sick children'' she said.
Amal Mohamad Hassan is the girl on the left, she is 10 years old living in Girvir. Like her sister she loves school and want to be a doctor as well so they can work together.
Both sisters loved they're toys and were really happy about it, Aya started hugging her toy when she first saw it.
Ahmad Mohamad Hama a 7 years old boy with physical disability (congenital dislocation of lower limbs). Ahmad is in the 2nd grade and wants to become an architecture in future so he can build a stadium where he can play football with his friends. Ahmad loved his shoe the most.
