Case story

Hello Babies

Children make up more than half of the world's 21.3 million Refugees , many known nothing but war , deprivation and fear.

They are not in school and often struggle to find the basic essentials, their lives and futures at

risk. "Inas and Firas " a twin, 21 day old, know nothing about all of that , their mother "A'alam" , 23 year old , has just given them the birth .

A'alam has dreamt of having children since she was a girl  growing up in " Timarat "  village in " Tilaafer " , but she always thought her mother would be there , helping her through labor and her first years as a mother , instead , A'alam " gave the birth in a camp , away from her mother.

" I was afraid  "  she said , " when /I took my babies home from the hospital , I didn't know how to take care of them inside a camp .

" I didn't have any clothes for them " , she continued .

" when a baby is born in "Timarat", we slaughter a lamb and eat meat " her husband " Maher Ali " 22 year old, said " here we even don’t have a small bed for my babies".

While the father was talking his older son " Anas" 2 year old , was standing by the door of their tent with a beautiful smile on his face , looking curiously at his parents .

" The labor was normal and everything was fine" the mother said .

" I am healthy, thank God " she replied when we asked her about her health.

" My babies are healthy too, but they don’t have any clothes " the mother continued.

" We have arrived since 1-5-2017 with no beds or clothes ".

We didn’t want to stay longer cause Inas was sleeping on the ground inside the tent beside her beautiful brother Firas so we gave them a lot of clothes and three beds which have been sent by

Bring Hope foundation.

"Oh, thank you so much " the mother said " you made me happy , I don’t know how to thank Sewan organization and Bring Hope for those beautiful clothes " A'alam said that happily .
